Frontier said Monday the airline will offer three weekly nonstop flights from Port Columbus International Airport in Ohio's capital to Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing, N.J., beginning on April 8.

Introductory fares are as low as $29 each way through Jan. 23.

David Whitaker of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority said he expects the route to serve as an alternative access point to Philadelphia and New York.
