A former New Jersey Boy Scout leader faces charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said 44-year-old Stephen Corcoran was arrested Friday.

The prosecutor said another man told investigators in November that Corcoran had invited him to his Morris Plains home and showed him pornographic images of boys.

Authorities say such images were also found on his computer.

Corcoran's lawyer, Peter Gilbreth, tells The Star-Ledger that Corcoran cut his ties in November with a Boy Scout troop where he had been assistant scoutmaster.

Gilbreth told the paper Corcoran was released on bail. He said he would plead not guilty.
