Fair Lawn cop arrested for stealing from first aid squad

Fair Lawn Police Officer DonaldMacIsaac "shopped" at the Fair Lawn volunteer fire squad, police said, where he is accused of taking over $800 worth of pillowcases, gloves, blankets and sanitary wipes according to NJ.com.
Police Chief Glen Cauwels told the newspaper that MacIsaac took the items on 15-different occasions and that he has been suspended without pay. He was charged with a single count of third degree theft.
"The Fair Lawn Police Department is full of great police officers, what occurred in this case is not a reflection of how our department operates," Cauwels told NJ.com. "Police misconduct will not be tolerated."
