Scandals aside, the worse thing said about any political office seeker may be, "Never heard of him (or her)." This is something Chris Christie doesn't have to worry about, as he entertains visions of a national campaign.

As many recent callers to New Jersey 101.5 tell it, no Garden State resident returns from an out-of-state trip without an anecdote about some hotel concierge, gas station attendant or street vendor asking them about the governor of New Jersey.

In the wake of his landslide re-election victory in a Democratic state, New Jersey's Republican governor also seems to have every political columnist, analyst and commentator talking about him. As this phenomenon is likely to last, maybe right up to 2016, we'll keep a  selection of such opinion pieces available right here for your reading pleasure.

And if you're back from a trip, with one of those "What's-the-deal-with-Chris Christie?" stories from the hinterland, feel free to post it on our Facebook page.
