SOUTH BRUNSWICK — After five decades, Kendall Park Roller Rink will hang up its last pair of skates for good on Sunday.

MyCentralJersey.com spoke to former owner, 76-year-old Cliff Nazzaro, who saw the business peak during the disco 1970s,

"I remember any Saturday afternoon I would have 1,100 people in there," he was quoted as saying.

The Route 27 rink has been the place were countless kids learned to skate and was the site for thousands of parties, reunions and dates.

Anyone interest in one last go around will have their chance from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
