Dump Truck Crashes off Parkway
A dump truck has crashed off the Garden State Parkway in south Jersey.
6 ABC reports the dump truck went off the bridge over the Great Egg Harbor Bay just before 3 p.m. as Memorial Day weekend traffic was beginning to build. The driver was rescued but divers are searching for anyone else who may have been in the truck.
NBC 10 says the driver of the construction dump truck lost control, hit a divider and went into the water.
New Jersey Fast Traffic reports traffic is backed up for several miles coming off the Atlantic City Expressway.
New Jersey State Police say they will be closing the road at some point in the evening for an investigation and suggest using Route 50 as an alternative to Cape May.
