Drunk Driving Charge Added in Millville Cop’s Death
Authorities in Cumberland County say a man already charged with vehicular homicide and other offenses was driving drunk when he caused a crash that killed a police officer.
The July 8 crash killed Millville Patrol Officer Christopher Reeves.
Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said Friday that Timothy Seidel has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
Police say Seidel was fleeing police when he crashed into Reeves' cruiser. An officer riding with Reeves was injured.
The 23-year-old Commercial Township resident has pleaded not guilty to vehicular homicide, aggravated manslaughter, aggravated assault and other charges.
