Does Your Military Status Change With A New Family?

Earlier tonight, I ran into someone who was trying to make an extremely tough decision.  He was deciding whether to withdraw from the military or remain as an active duty member since he's started a family and has a wife and two small children.  I opened it up to listeners to tell their stories and how they made that decision.  Many were divided on the issue; one guy said you are always soldier and it is your obligation to serve.  Another said that nothing can replace time spent with family. Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it is that time of year to give thanks to everyone who means so much to you, and I'd like to personally thank all of the men and women who dedicate themselves to this country.  I also look at this time of year as a time to reflect and be grateful for everything and everyone you have in your life.  Enjoy every moment and take nothing for granted!  Have a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving!
