Dallas household weary of Ebola quarantine

DALLAS (AP) -- The woman in the east Dallas apartment where Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan stayed between hospital visits says she's tired of being "locked up."

Louise Troh told The Associated Press she is "going through stress" being quarantined with her 13-year-old son and nephews.

Authorities have cordoned off the apartment building. Texas State Health Commissioner David Lakey said the containment order will help ensure that the four can be closely watched, including checking them for fevers over the next three weeks.

Troh says she placed the sheets and towels Duncan used in plastic bags. Dallas County Health Department spokeswoman Erikka Neroes said she could not immediately confirm whether the linens had been collected Thursday.

Troh says she imagined she was beyond the grasp of the disease that's stricken her native Liberia.
