Newark Mayor Cory Booker tweeted a photo of his sprained ankle today, hours before his scheduled speech in front of the National Democratic Convention.

Booker tripped on a curb and sprained his ankle this morning, while on his way to a speech in front of Florida delegates, according to CBS New York. He still delivered the speech, but headed to the hospital afterwards.

“#istandwithobama even with this bum ankle,” Booker posted on Twitter before 9:00 a.m. today.

As a member of the party’s Platform Drafting Committee, Booker is still scheduled to address the full convention this evening around 6:00 p.m.

Just this weekend, it was reported Booker misspelled the President’s name in an ad he took out in the New Jersey directory of delegates.
