The #1 movie in New Jersey (and the US) this past weekend is actually a good movie! The movie is Chronicle and features some of the most clever camera work in recent movie history...

The story follows three high school friends who develop superpowers after attending a party. They soon discover that the more they use their powers, the more powerful they become and the more abusive those powers can be when used irresponsibly (as is the case with the character Andrew).

The movie falls into the"found footage" category (popularized by The Blair Witch Project), but yet somehow manages to miraculously "float" from scene to scene without the requisite clunky-cuts we've been used to in the past. The photography is simply mind-altering !

This is one movie that must be seen on the big screen to be fully appreciated.

Plus,  the ending will blow you away.
