Governor Chris Christie, just back from a week-long trip to Israel, will be in New York this morning to address a gathering on taxes presented by the George W. Bush Presidential Center.

Christie will speak after the former President about the event's theme, Tax Policies for 4% Growth. According to the Center, the goal the 4% Growth Project is to achie sustainable and real GDP growth of four percent, an attainable level the project believes  will ensure Americans of better jobs, lower debt, and vastly increased opportunity and prosperity.

Today's event features a "Who's Who" of Republican luminaries including Governors Mark Fallin of Oklahoma, Sam Brownback of Kansas, Paul LePage of Maine, and Bill Haslam of Tennessee. Also attending: publisher Steve Forbes and political consultant Karl Rove.
