If Gov. Chris Christie was to run for president, assuming he wins a GOP primary, he would lose to Hillary Clinton in the Garden State.

A second poll now shows him with a double-digit deficit to Clinton here in New Jersey.

This explains why Christie has been posturing more to critical primary states, such as Iowa and New Hampshire.

It continues a trend for him of polling much better outside of New Jersey than within.
