Christie looks to use experience as U.S. Attorney to boost presidential bid
Gov. Chris Christie is trying to use his role as U.S. Attorney after the 9/11 attacks to boost his standing among the other Republican candidates for president in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
In a speech shortly after the bombings, Christie pointed out he was the only one of the candidates who has directly dealt with the impact of a terror attack, and as U.S. Attorney helped to prevent another attack.
With Islamic State being more aggressive in it's terror agenda, Christie may have found the one issue where he can stand out.
