He is calling for stimulating the U.S. economy with tax cuts for everyone, including the rich, middle-class, and poor.

Christie calls his tax plan flatter and fairer.

His Democratic critics are feasting on this opportunity to hit Christie on his economic record back home in New Jersey, where the unemployment rate remains much higher than the national average.

Economic growth has been stagnant in the Garden State and businesses continue to leave the state.
