Christie fights for debate slot

As Gov. Chris Christie struggles to separate himself from the rest of the GOP pack for president, he is in danger of not making the cut for the first debate.

If he does not qualify, many experts believe his race is essentially over.

Fox News will only take the top ten candidates based on average national polling numbers.

Right now, Christie finds himself right on the cut line in 10th place.

The first Republican debate takes place August 6 in Cleveland, Ohio.
