As concerns about Ebola keep rising, Governor Christie has announced the creation of a special Ebola response task force. He's also calling on all Jersey residents to take a deep breath and stay calm.

Meanwhile the Port Authority executive director says nobody screened for Ebola at the major area airports has tested positive since screening began on October 11th. 68 travelers have been tested at Newark Airport you may remember a passenger was held yesterday, but it was determined he did not have any symptoms of the virus.

Federal officials announce that all travelers from the three Ebola-stricken West African nations coming into the U.S. Will be monitored for three weeks to try and stop the spread of the disease anybody traveling from guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone will have to report with officials daily and have their temperature taken.

The quarantine for NBC's Dr. Nancy Snyderman expired last night, but she must continue to self-monitor her health through Monday and report her temperature to Princeton's health department. Snyderman was exposed along to the virus while reporting earlier this month Liberia

Taj Mahal will stay open through November but their owners still cannot guarantee the struggling casino will make it through the end of the year they are hoping for millions in state assistance before Carl Icahn would take over ownership, but Senate President Sweeney has ruled that out. Meanwhile, after a judge cancelled the casino's union contract last week, the local 54 plans to tell customers about the ongoing dispute and to take their business elsewhere.

Trump Entertainment Resorts is dropping its threat to close Atlantic City's Taj Mahal Casino on November 13th. The company says it cannot guarantee the Taj Mahal won't close by the end of the year, but it will remain open through November.

Meanwhile the hearing to have the Trump name removed from Taj Mahal has been postponed, it was originally scheduled for today. The Trump family says the condition of the casino is tarnishing their brand. The new hearing is set for November 24th

There are a lot of "big wheels" in Atlantic City.  Just walk into any casino.  But the city and the casino reinvestment development authority is now building the biggest of wheels next to the iconic steel pier.

A new Rutgers-Eagleton poll reveals that nearly two thirds of New Jerseyans think Atlantic City's best days are behind it. In addition, 63 percent of those polled say gambling has only benefited only the casinos while 25 percent believe gambling has been good for both residents and the casinos.

An update on last year's fatal carjacking at the Short Hills Mall. The four men charged with murdering Hoboken attorney Dustin Friedland have pleaded not guilty. The 30-year-old Friendland was killed while returning to his car in the mall parking garage with his wife.

Charges are pending after a Maryland man climbed over the white house fence last night. Twenty-three-year-old Dominic Adesanya was quickly taken into custody after video showed him punching and kicking two secret service dogs that were released on him. Adesanya was taken to a local hospital.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper says investigators should learn in the days to come whether a gunman who shot and killed a soldier standing guard at Ottawa's War Memorial had any accomplices. The gunman was shot and killed Wednesday when he stormed parliament. Harper is calling the incident the second terror attack in three days. On Monday, a man described as an Islamic state-inspired terrorist ran over two soldiers in a parking lot in Quebec, killing one of them.

The CEO of Caesars entertainment says a new $125 million meeting center his company is building will help define Atlantic City's future. Gary Loveman says the center next to Harrah's will be ready by next summer. Loveman declined to say whether his debt-laden company is considering closing any more of the three casinos it still owns in ac. Caesars entertainment closed the Showboat in August.

A new survey says colleges are still inconsistent in the way they handle athletes' concussions. The Harvard university study found that nearly one in five schools either don't have the required concussion management plan or have done a poor job in educating their staff about compliance.
