Christie campaign helped by Cowboys owner

Shut out by the Koch brothers, Gov. Chris Christie is turning elsewhere for campaign cash.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will host a fundraiser for Christie at his Texas home next month.

Tickets for the reception start at $1,000.

Christie has angered a lot of Garden State residents with his love for the Cowboys. He was seen hugging Jones during a Cowboys win over the Eagles last year.

Meanwhile, the governor continues to trail the crowded the GOP field, currently sitting in 11th place in the race for the presidential nomination.
