A bomb threat at Cherry Hill East High School forced administrators to shut the school early and cancel after school activities.The school will be open as usual tomorrow morning starting at 7:30 a.m. according to an updated message on the district website.

Police ask that parents to encourage students who have information about the message to come forward and that all information will be kept confidential.

Earlier, The threat was written on a bathroom according to a message on the Cherry Hill public schools website. Details of the message were not released. Students were dismissed 15 minutes early all afternoon and evening activities were cancelled.

The school was closed by a similar threat in April which sent the school into a Tier II lockdown before students were simply sent home.

Those responsible for the message will face disciplinary action and perhaps criminal charges according to the Maureen Reusche, Cherry Hill's Superintendent of Schools.
