Robert Paratore, of East Greenwich, was sentenced Friday by a federal judge. He had pleaded guilty to the accusation and agreed to tell law enforcement about eight victims he sexually abused.

Prosecutors say the 47-year-old used his computer when he was chief financial officer of Akers Biosciences in Thorofare to download the files and offer them on the Internet in 2009.

It wasn’t his first offense.

Paratore pleaded guilty and was sentenced to prison in 2000 for possessing more than 4,600 images of child pornography.
