Early Monday Carson backed up the claim from Donald Trump that Muslims in Jersey City were seen celebrating the attacks.

But a Carson spokesman said Carson doesn't believe he saw any Muslims in New Jersey celebrating.

Instead, the former neurosurgeon is recalling video of people in the Middle East who were celebrating that day.

Trump, though hasn't backed down and continues to make the claim, despite strong push-back from local officials who say it didn't happen.
