A school bus accident in Burlington Township has injured at least seven children.

The bus with children on board collided with a white sedan around 8:30 a.m. at the 1200 block of Salem Road according to WPVI TV, which reports that 15 children age 8 through 11 were on the bus.

At a press conference, police said the driver appears to have suffered the worst of the injuries according to the Burlington County Times

Six of the children have been released reports the Times. One remains hospitalized with serious injuries as well.

Most of the injuries are said to be minor but Burlington Township School Superintendent Dr. Christopher Manno tells WPVI TV that they are still evaluating all the injured.

The school was carrying students to the Fountain Woods Elementary School.
