There is a report today that claims one state college president feels that New Jersey experiences a net loss of 30,000 students a year.

By her reckoning, around 5 thousand come in, but 35 thousand a year leave!

Doesn't look very good for the future of the Garden State, especially given the fact when our best and brightest leave for a college out of state, they usually don't come back.

So, the question we'll try and answer is, if you're of college age, do you plan on staying in state or leaving, or if you have college age kids, are you willing to sacrifice them putting down roots once they graduate from an out of state school?

I would imagine the proposed Rowan/Rutgers-Camden merger doesn't help the situation either.
