Body of missing Hopatcong man found in lake
HOPATCONG — The body of a former teacher who was reported missing was found on Tuesday morning.
The Hopatcong Police Department reported that Arthur Clarke's body was found in Lake Hopatcong. According to the police, the New Jersey State Police Marine Bureau is investigating the case.
Clarke was first reported missing on Saturday morning, when his mother noticed he had not returned home. He was a former Hopatcong school teacher and also owned Hopatcong Eye Care.
Mullane said Clarke had taught math and science in the district from 1977 until 1993 at both Durban Avenue School and Hopatcong Middle School.
