The Bergen County prosecutor's office says the victim, an unnamed Hackensack attorney, told police the woman began demanding lavish gifts, including jewelry, in exchange for not telling the man's wife after he ended their two-year affair.

Prosecutors say the man went to police after Sasha Intriago allegedly escalated her demands to include a large sum of money.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli announced Monday that Intriago was arrested Aug. 9 at her job in Hackensack.

The 30 year-old Bloomsbury resident faces one count of extortion and one count of stalking.

It's not clear if she has an attorney.

She's being held on $50,000 bail.
