Glen Rock police tell The Record that the robbery at the Glen Rock Savings Bank was reported around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money but apparently dropped the gun, which was later recovered by police on a nearby street. It's not clear if the robber fled on foot or used a getaway vehicle.

No injuries were reported in the robbery, but authorities would not say if the bandit made any threats to the bank employees. It also wasn;'t immediately known if the robber was a man or a woman.

Besides local police, the robbery is under investigation by the FBI and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office.
