Kelly Waldron

Born and raised in New Jersey, Kelly Waldron graduated from Rutgers University and got her start in radio at WSUS in Sussex County.  She then moved on to WCTC/WMGQ in Middlesex County where she spent five years as Morning Drive News Anchor and Reporter before moving on to become a national correspondent for Metro Networks where she started the New Jersey Bureau.  From Metro Networks, Kelly moved on to WCBS 880 in New York where she spent ten years as a reporter.  Kelly decided to come back to her New Jersey roots and joined the NJ 101.5 news team as our Afternoon Drive News Anchor and Reporter.  She resides in Monroe with her husband and two children.

New home construction slips, but demand still high

Fewer new homes were built in February. In fact, housing starts plummeted in the Northeast and in the Midwest as a result of frigid temperatures and heavy snowfall.  Despite the decrease, demand remains high in New Jersey.

FBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted program marks 65 years

It started in 1950 when a reporter wanted to do a story on the nation's most wanted criminals. The overwhelming response led to the beginning of what has become known as the FBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list. This Saturday, the program will celebrate its 65th anniversary.

Women’s best states – New Jersey ranks 17th in national study

In honor of Women's History Month, WalletHub analyzed 2015's Best and Worst States for Women and New Jersey was given an overall ranking of 17th in the nation. The study evaluated several factors including women's economic and social well-being as well as women's health care.

NJ homebuilding off to a strong start for 2015

After a strong finish to 2014, residential construction in New Jersey started 2015 on a positive note. Homebuilders drew 1,740 building permits which was just shy of the best January since 2007.
