Ladies and gents, it’s time for another round of entertaining fails. Recently we’ve scoped out the really unfortunate and the semi-painful type of fail. But this time around, we’re going for the straight up adorable, AKA puppy fails.
When it comes to taking fashion risks, awards shows are the ideal time to just buck up and go for it. There are like, millions of people watching, after all. That being said, it does take a whole 'lotta guts to ere on the side of crazy couture, but this year's Oscars were bound to have some of those fashion risks, right? You betcha! Check out the craziest getups from the Red Carpet.
Quvenzhané Wallis is the adorable girl who played "Hushpuppy" in the Oscar-nominated film 'Beasts of the Southern Wild,' and America's been going wild over the cutie pie ever since. (She just scored the role of Annie in Jay-Z's big screen update of the classic musical.) This nine-year-old (yes, NINE) is up for the Best Actress award at tonight's Oscars, and there's no doubt she's holding her own among veteran celebs. We think this has something to do with her puppy purse.
February 14th is upon us, so it's time to whip out all the lovey dovey cliches, y'all. We're talking about the stuff we expect on V-Day-- the chocolates, roses and, of course, the proposal stories. It's a pretty cute idea to propose to your significant other on the most romantic day of the year, but with that comes a big, big risk-- that other person might say no. Yikes.
It's true the holidays are easily the greatest time of year, but it can also be the most exhausting. After so much preparation, it sort of feels like we want to nap for weeks. It also doesn't help that we ate our weight in ham and stuffing and chocolate, so we're currently nursing a major food hangover. But it's time to rally, people! We can't forget one of the greatest parties is coming up in just a few short days-- New Year's Eve.
Even though we're huge fans of Christmas, the holiday season can be super stressful at times. This is particularly true when it comes to buying presents. Most people are difficult to shop for, which puts tons of pressure on us to try and decode their present preference. Will our friend like that potpourri centerpiece we're re-gifting from grandma? Probably not. What about the awful Christmas sweater in the back of our closet that still has the tag on it? We'll give that a big N-O.
With all the time we spend on Pinterest, it's no wonder we've come across so much quirky and awesome stuff. Half our holiday gift and decorating ideas come from the site alone! Want to check out Disney/Star Wars mash-up art or a cheeseburger dress? They've got you covered. Not surprisingly, the site also has a whole slew of questionable holiday products you can pin and repin, like a pickle ornament or a creepy spandex reindeer costume.
