Bill Spadea hosts the morning drive show on New Jersey 101.5 and is the founder of the Common Sense Club. He was the anchor of the "Chasing News" program on on Fox Television in New York and Philly and has worked as a political strategist, analyst, candidate for office and business executive. Before getting into media, he was a real estate executive for 18 years, coaching, recruiting and selling. As a candidate, Spadea took on a three-term Democratic House incumbent in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District. His campaign ranked 17th out of 157 GOP challengers nationwide by earning 40 percent of the vote with more than 115,000 votes. Following the race, Spadea served as a surrogate speaker in New Jersey for Republican candidates for governor and U.S. Senate, and for Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign in 2008. Spadea, who raised a family with his wife Jodi in Princeton, graduated in 1991 with a B.A. from Boston University and received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps Reserves after serving eight years.
