A new plan for struggling Atlantic City [AUDIO]
As Atlantic City deals with a constantly shrinking gambling market share, they search for other avenues to draw visitors to the city.
One idea from Mayor Don Guardian is to transform AC into a port for small cruise lines.
Citing a recent engineering study, Guardian says the city's waterways are equipped to take in ships up to 200 feet long.
A possible site for a channel could lie between the Golden Nugget, Brigantine Bridge and U.S. Coast Guard Station.
Guardian is expected to ask the federal government for help in making the dream a reality.
