If you've been busy enjoying the 'springtime in winter' weather Jersey, here's some fun stuff that happened over President's Day weekend. Paul McCartney reunited with Ringo Starr in the studio. The surviving Beatles shared a photo after the session. The duo also had a recent 'All-Starr' dinner with Joe Walsh, Dave Grohl & Tom Hanks. Some spouses were there, though Sir Paul's Jersey Girl wife Nancy Shevell was not among them.

The Moody Blues will come to NJ this summer for a 50th anniversary tour of their 'Days of Future Passed' album. They'll play their big hits, plus the entire album live. They visit PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on July 13.

Disney is lining up its live-action Lion King stars, with James Earl Jones back as Mufasa! The acting icon famously voiced the noble lion in the animated classic. Simba will be played by Donald Glover, of 'Community' and 'Atlanta' TV fame. Glover also will play young Lando Calrissian in that Han Solo spinoff movie.

The LEGO Batman movie stayed atop the Box Office for President's Day weekend. Matt Damon in 'The Great Wall' didn't do very well in the states, opening in third place with just $18 million. But, the film (shot entirely in China) has been a hit with international fans.

Proud Jersey Girl Erin Vogt’s first reporting gig involved her Fisher Price tape recorder. As a wife and momma of two kiddies, she firmly believes that life’s too short to drink bad coffee.  A fan of the beach, Dave Grohl and karma, in no particular order.
