7 Teens Injured In Ocean County Crash

Police say the 18-year-old driver who injured seven after crashing in Ocean County had been in five other motor vehicle accidents since last February.Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy tells the Asbury Park Press Christopher Ryan was speeding when he lost control of his SUV. The vehicle hit a utility box and a tree Sunday.

Ryan and his six passengers remain hospitalized. Their conditions are not known.

Police are also investigating whether some of the teens had been at a party drinking before the crash.
