1 Killed in New Brunswick Home Shooting

One man was killed and another was wounded when gunfire erupted at a New Brunswick  home.

Acting Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey says the shooting occurred around 12:45 a.m. Sunday at a house on Hale Street in New Brunswick. But a possible motive has not been disclosed.

Carey says 28-year-old Gregorio Hernandez was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later. The wounded man, identified only as a 23-year-old New Brunswick resident, was treated at the hospital and later released.

No arrests have been made.

Further details on the shooting, including what type of weapon was used and how many people may have been involved, have not been disclosed.
