3 Shot At PATH Station
3 people were shot at the Pavonia PATH station in Jersey City on Sunday morning temporarily shutting down the station.
A man apparently fell into a woman around 5:10 a.m. Sunday and was confronted by her brother. The man then started shooting and hit the woman in the ankle and another man in the hand before he himself was somehow shot in the leg.
The three New Jersey residents were being treated for wounds that are not considered life-threatening. One of them, 34-year-old Tari Turpin of East Orange, faces numerous charges, including two counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses.
PATH service between Journal Square-33rd Street via the Hoboken line has returned to a normal schedule.
