The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says 24-year-old Tyshawn Goodman and a 20-year-old got out of a vehicle on Rosemont Avenue Wednesday night when they were approached by three men who tried to rob them at gunpoint. Both Trenton residents were shot.

Goodman was killed and the younger man is in stable condition.

Soon after, authorities say 33-year-old George Jamison of Pennington was sitting on a bus stop bench on North Broad Street when he was approached by a male who tried to rob him. Jamison was shot in the back and died.

The suspect fled on a bicycle.
