VOORHEES — A boy about 4 or 5 years old drowned at a local hotel pool.

According to NJ.com, the boy died on the night of April 15 at the Hampton Inn. Hotel employees called 911 and he was given CPR while awaiting paramedics, the report said.

"I have someone who is drowning in the pool. I need you to come with an ambulance," the NJ.com story quoted a staff member saying inn the 911 call.

Camden County Spokesperson Alexandra McVeigh told NJ.com the incident is under investigation. McVeigh did not return after hours messages and emails from New Jersey 101.5 seeking more information.
