Why we plunge — meet the Seaside Heights crowd for Polar Bear Plunge 2017

Proud Jersey Girl Erin Vogt hit the streets of Seaside Heights Saturday to meet the people of the 2017 Polar Bear Plunge. So what keeps these people coming back year after year?

For many it's their personal ties to special education or Special Olympics. For some they want to support the State P.B.A. in their efforts. Oh and don't forget the party, the energy at every Polar Bear Plunge is incredible, for many the spectacle of it all is more than half the reason.
