State Police say they're seeking a man who broke into a car in Upper Township in Cape May County, and stole several items — including the owner's driver's license, birth certificate, and Social Security Card.

Sometime between Friday evening, March 11 and early Saturday morning on March 12, the man broke into the vehicle by shattering a window.

State Police said that through "various investigative means" (they didn't say how) detectives were able to determine that the man was at Sunoco Gas stations in Wall Township, South Amboy, Woodbridge and Secaucus. Police have released surveillance stills taken from multiple locations.

He may be driving a newer model Ford pickup truck or a Porsche SUV, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information contact Trooper Ramon Ortiz at Woodbine Station at 609-861-5698. Anonymous tips are welcome.

"There's no ‪#‎Blurryface‬ here, folks," police wrote in an alert about the search. "There are a few nice, clear images for your viewing pleasure. Let's like and share this post and ID this guy quickly!"
