Two men die in overturned car crash in Plainfield

Two men were killed on Saturday morning in Plainfield when their car crashed and overturned.

According to Plainfield Police, the car crashed at about 6:00 am in the area of East Second Street and Emerson Avenue. Speed may have been a factor in the accident, police said in a statement.  No one else was reported injured.  The names of the men have not been released, pending notification to the victims’ families.
