The Rainy Weekend Couldn’t Stop The Jersey Prize Team! [PHOTOS/VIDEO]
The Jersey Prize Team had a busy weekend, traveling to all throughout New Jersey with the Big Yellow Van!
On Saturday, March 31st The Jersey Prize team joined the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA) at their Sexual Assault Awareness Month Walk held in Hamilton, NJ. The Jersey Prize Team was there to keep spirits high and cheer on all the walkers and runners by playing Jersey’s Favorite hits and giving out some great prizes! Everyone who came to Veterans Park showed their support by sticking it out for the walk in the dreary weather.
This inspiring organization raised over $33,000, which will be donated to support sexual assault services and prevention efforts throughout New Jersey. You can check out their website here to find out more info about upcoming walks in the month of April – the designated month for Sexual Assault Awareness.
Later that day, Ray the Prize Guy headed over to Linden for the grand opening of Motion Federal Credit Union! The grand opening was from 12-4 at their newly opened Wood Avenue branch. Motion Federal had tons of cool incentives for going to their grand opening – clowns, face painting, a magic show and live dance performances! Even the Mayor of Linden, Richard J. Gerbounka was there to help cut the tape and join in on the fun. Ray the Prize Guy was there to give away great prizes and provide some of his comic relief! Overall, the grand opening was a success!
The Jersey Prize Team was also present for the Run with the Eagles 5K. The walk took place at Byron Johnson Park in Allentown on Saturday, March 31st. We played Jersey’s Favorite hits and gave away some great prizes for some lucky winners who showed up and stuck it out in the fog and rain! All proceeds for this event went to Boy Scouts of America Troop 180, hailing from Allentown, NJ.
