Anybody who claims to have seen Bruce Springsteen over 100 times probably has seen it all before.

So it comes as no surprise that Page 6 reports The Boss from Mendham copped a few Z’s during The Boss from Asbury’s recent Madison Square Garden Soiree.

I mean, if you’d had the kind of schedule Chris from Mendham has had, you’d probably look to get in a couple of winks here and there yourself.

The report states, “The governor was very active during the show,” said a spy. “Bruce started talking about ‘supporting food banks in New York and New Jersey,’ and ‘how people have been hit hard,’ and Christie was riveted. Then Bruce performed ‘Rocky Ground,’ and Christie visibly started fading.”

Had it been “Thunder Road”, maybe not so much!

Page Six also reported that one rowdy Bruce fan noticed the snoozing statesman and yelled over the loud music, “Wake up, Governor!” — which one source said put Christie’s security detail momentarily “on edge.”

We all, at one time or another, have dozed off during long sets at shows we were really jacked up to see.

One co-worker tells me he’d fallen asleep through a Pink Floyd concert…(probably during “Comfortably Numb!”)

And another confessed to have fallen asleep during a Steve Winwood show while he was performing something from his days with Traffic…(Low Spark of High Heeled Boys.)

I myself had fallen asleep during a concert, but this shouldn’t count.

We had given my mother in law, who’s a huge opera buff, a 75th birthday gift to see Aida at Lincoln Center.

It’s opera, so it’s bound to put you to sleep...no?

Sure enough, right on cue, the curtain rises and I’m out like a light.

And wake up just in time to see the second coming of the Pharoah…or whatever was happening on stage.

( I couldn’t tell you since I was in such a stupor, and was pissed that I had to miss the first couple of games of the NFL wildcard playoff weekend. The sacrifices one makes for one’s in-laws…but I digress!)

A rep for Christie declined to comment on whether he took a power nap but said, “At no point did the detail get ‘on edge.’ ”

Sure…and the Statue of Liberty really belongs to New Jersey!

Have you ever fallen asleep during a concert?

And if so, where did you fall asleep.

PS: Guess from which movie this line is heard:

You want to know how I did it? This is how I did it, Anton: I never saved anything for the swim back.
