A new op-ed from The Trentonian asks why the city is focused on helping animals when it should be helping residents. But Trenton Animals Rock Executive Director Danielle Gletow says she's been doing both jobs for years.

Local non-profit Trenton Animals Rock has spent the last three years working toward making Trenton Animal Shelter a no-kill shelter. A recent vote from City Council ending their contract has left TAR locked out of the building with no plans for the city to properly care for the animals.
