Patricia Krentcil, the New Jersey Tan Mom, has filed paperwork to run for the U.S. Senate in Florida against incumbent Rick Scott.

She is now awake from her medically induced coma and in great spirits.

She's the Nutley, NJ woman who was arrested but never indicted for bringing her 5 year old daughter into a tanning salon.

It was a school nurse that that reported Krentcil to police when her then-5-year-old daughter talked about going to tanning salons with her mother.

"Tan Mom" Patricia Krentcil is ready for her next 15 minutes of fame and she has a new passion: Botox.
