As thousands of hearty souls "brave" the frigid waters in Seaside Heights for the "24th Annual Polar Bear Plunge," I thought it would be fun to highlight a few of "Jersey's Favorite Hits"...from across the rock 'n' roll era...with "Summer" in the title!

Summer "down the shore" in New Jersey...you can't beat it! And, this being the first weekend of "Summer," New Jersey 101.5 is celebrating! All weekend, we're giving YOU "Ride and Slide Passes" to Breakwater Beach Water Park and Casino Pier in Seaside Heights...

Whether you're driving to the shore or barbecuing at the house, the one thing everyone can use in the summertime is a good summer mix tape.

On a cold Jersey day...when I wish for some "sand, surf, sun and fun," Beach Boys music instantly comes to mind! Especially their last, big hit, "Kokomo." Crystal clear and warm water, sunny blue skies, and an endless beach are what the song is supposed to conjure up in the listener's mind...
