Keith Richards is found guilty of trafficking marijuana, CCR breaks up, and Ronnie, Steve and Cassie of Lynyrd Skynyrd are all killed in a plane crash. It all happened this week in music history.

October 17th, 2008 - Madonna and Guy Ritchie announce the end of their seven year marriage. The press reported that without a prenuptial agreement Ritchie could receive around $25M of Madonna’s fortune.

Stealers Wheel formed in Scotland in 1972...the pride and joy of two school pals, Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty...the latter you might remember for his solo hits in the late 1970's.
