Question: if stopped by a cop in New Jersey, are you required to inform as to whether or not you are transporting a legally owned firearm? I would imagine that if asked, you would do well to tell the cop “yes!” However doing so might get you arrested...

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (AP) -- A Philadelphia woman who was facing prison time after she brought her legally owned a gun into New Jersey will now be allowed to enter a pretrial intervention program.
