The DOT has now included miniature horses in the category of Service Animals that MUST be allowed to travel with the disabled person they serve.

Legitimate service animals are highly skilled, highly trained dogs that serve their owners in performing tasks they have a hard time doing themselves. Those animals ought to be highly respected.

We've all seen it. Some selfish moron deciding to pass off their ordinary pet as a service animal, helper animal, therapy animal. Entire websites were created just for people to buy fake credentials to do this and make it look legit. It's a slap in the face of every truly disabled person out there who has legitimate need of a real service animal.
