For nearly a week, crews have been busy erecting the eight-mile course at Raceway Park, packed with 42 heart-pounding obstacles. There are also three-mile and 11-mile options, and a course for children.
As Raceway Park in Englishtown prepares for the Summernationals, Trev had an opportunity to feel the rush that drag racers experience at speeds of nearly 150 miles per hour.
The NHRA Summer Nationals are coming to Raceway Park this Thursday through Sunday June 4-7 and to preview the upcoming event, I got to take part in a really exciting event.
It’s a fascinating concept. The though of entering a grueling competition which involves a 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your resolve to finish, and your spirit of camraderie.
