I can't come close to affording an after-market Bruce ticket. I'm a huge fan but not huge enough to spend upwards of $400 to see him play in New York, New Jersey or Philadelphia. Sometimes the issue starts from the top. Even the original price of some Bruce tickets were in the triple digits...

The last two nights, Bruce Springsteen was bringing down the house at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, marking his first two shows with the E Street Band in his home state since 2009. Between Adele dominating the charts for months and the passing of Whitney Houston causing a rocket rise in her record sales, the Boss reaching number one would not be quite as easy as it was in years past...

Whether it be getting out of your hometown, love for New Jersey, Vietnam, 9-11 or the war in the Middle East, Bruce has taken to his notebook and guitar and become a main voice for what is going on around him, and us, for almost 40 years...

Considering I live in New Jersey and was raised on rock n' roll music, when I was told there was a new Bruce Springsteen exhibit being shown at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, I made it my weekend goal to take the trip down there to check it out.

I'm shocked that our governor has ordered the U.S. flag flown at half staff on Saturday to honor Whitney Houston.  The same week he's imploring the democrats to work on "real issues" and he does this?  What a slap in the face to the military...

To have Bruce Springsteen in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame solo without the E Street Band has always been an injustice. Yes Bruce is almost always great, but the music he makes with the E Street Band becomes downright transcendent. There's a certain level of soul with E Street rarely captured with anyone else...

Back in November, Bruce Springsteen announced a brand new album and tour for 2012. After months of speculation, about a month ago, a new single was released, "We Take Care of Our Own", and we were told which venues these concerts would be held...

A member of the band Stronger Than Dirt (a regular caller to the show) called into the Dennis and Judi Show to announce the band will be playing its last show together this weekend.  This brought up the topic of local bands in New Jersey that are having trouble staying together due to a bad economy.
