New Jersey is investing $83 million to increase reimbursement rates for child care providers serving kids in the state's child care assistance program.
"Suicide is a complex health issue with so many contributing factors," said Elizabeth Clemens, New Jersey-area director with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. "It's not a foregone conclusion that rates will increase during this time."
The CDC on Tuesday underscored the importance of naloxone, better known as Narcan, in the nation's fight against the severe heroin and opioid usage problem.
